64 duets for two horn

I
consider my most successful composition to be my "Planets
for solo horn, opus 19" because
of this popular piece, I have written my "more than 64 solos
for horn, opus 139" Following
the writing of the solos, I went ahead with the 64 duets, I
don't know why the opus numbers are sort of mixed up, especially
when there are still two duets to finish as I write this in early
August 2008. I have the whole set recorded, except # 50 & 60, and am now re-recording them in one-takes. One of my big projects for this season is recording all of my horn
ensemble music, with a CD of the Best of and a audio DVD
of the complete!
This currently has been published in two books with a CD recording:
Book one is duets 1-16 complete with a recording of the pieces
Book two is duets 17-34 complete with a recording of the pieces
The recordings that currently come with the Duets are the first version recording, which will be replaced after all the one-takes are done.
