My Solos and Duets project is ongoing:

I have re-recorded my "Duets for two horns, opus 139" and my
"More than sixty-four solos for horn, opus 132"

Each week I will be posting the sheet music and my recording of them.
One new piece a week (or so) for more than a year.

The recordings I am posting will all be without any splices.
I am working on non-stop "one-take" recordings.
This is for two reasons:
      1) I am still working on being a better horn
player, and trying to play non-stop through the duets flawlessly is the
          sort of challenge I need.
      2) I want to prove that the solos and duets can be played, sometimes only
after hard work, sometime quite easily.

Richard Burdick

June 2009: I had a good time selling my wares in the sheet music room of the International horn Societys' Symposium. My masterclass on the Natural horn went well too.

April, 28th 2009: I'm very happy about my new horn now that it is fixed.
It's a C. A. Wunderlich ((1882-1959) single F with a huge dark sound;
the perfect horn to play the bassoon part in the Reicha trios, op. 93,
Here I am with it in this mornings snow:

Welcome to the 2009 revision of the I Ching music web site!

Last Year I split the sites into serveral different categories. Thanks to 3IX.com, I can have unlimited web sites by just paying $100 a year and the domain registration fees.

So now it's official: we have un-split Richard Burdick's on-line personality with the central hub of www.horn.pro you can find many links to his different sites; all of which are a big work in progress -- By doing a little each day one can do miraculous things.

1) This site for his compositions and recordings of his works

2) Naturalhorn.com for his interest in all things relating to the early horn, Belloli, Dauprat, Naderman and his hand horn recordings

3) Favorites-cd.com for his recordings of classical and pop music with valve horn. This is for his Bach Easter Oratorio, Favorites CD and more!

4) The new BLOG site: http://i-ching-music.blogspot.com/
Not too much happens on the blog spot, I use that when I have an article, which isn't too often.
